Teenage Angst

Yet another project that took way longer than it probably should have done! Here we have Fran's teen conversion of Ghanima Atreides's skinny jeans and flats mesh in all of Ghanima's textures, plus ColdFire's Pook'd recolours and a recolour of my own (Pooklet's 'Time Bomb'), in both tucked and untucked varieties.

To keep the file sizes small, and preserve texture quality, these are all texture-linked to the adult versions, so you must also have the adult jeans in your downloads folder (otherwise the teen jeans will just show up with flesh-coloured textures - ewww!).

The mesh is included. I have also included in the download some minor edits of all the textures for the tucked variety only (these correct a small problem that existed with the original alpha); these all have the same file names as the originals, so just allow them to overwrite. However, you will still need to download the untucked adult textures by ColdFire (Pooklet's neons), and Ghanima Atreides's original (Club Crimsyn) and new (H&M) textures.

As a bonus, I have also turned a selection of the tucked jeans (Ghanima's textures and my 'Time Bomb' recolour) into a default-replacement for the Maxis base-game teen flared jeans with sandals (yay!):

I'm afraid, however, that the mesh doesn't seem to have a fat morph, and this is beyond my skills to fix (if anyone smarter than I would like to add one *hints*...). aquilegia has been my hero yet again, and not only added a fat morph to the teen mesh, as well as scaled down the hips a little to make them fit better with the Maxis default body-shape, but also added a preg morph to the adult mesh! I have updated my download RAR files (the fixed teen mesh is included with the custom recolours, and is now used in the default-replacement package), but you can also grab the mesh updates separately below.

... What, no fat morph? What is it with people? Then again, better none than a horrible half-assed one. Anyhow, hint taken. ;) I'd been wanting these for teens, and if someone else hadn't come along and converted the mesh I would have ended up doing it anyway! Thank you for going to the work of making the linked texture packages.

Hehe, well, I can't criticize, as I haven't a clue how to make a regular mesh, let alone a fat morph for one! Anyway, thanks for taking the not-so-gentle hint! And for your tutorial on how to link the textures. :)

I'm re-doing the fat morph on the adult mesh as well, because... gah. GAH. That wasn't a fat morph, that was an insult. >:/ Anyhow, almost done, I'll drop a link within the hour...

Hehe thanks for the update, I admit my fat morphs aren't the best xD And pregmorph too! Now I finally have something to use those pregmorph tops with.

Now if I just need to muster up the courage to convert the Chucks version, because that's my favourite...

Will keep that in mind :D I just need to sit down at it and figure it out again, it's been ages since I've meshed anything and bottom-only meshes are particularly tricky (for me). And I guess I need to improve my fat morphs :P

I added a morph to Callie's mesh, as well as fixing the shaping on the default morph, as the hips weren't scaled down enough to conform to the teen girl shape. I fixed the fat morph and added a preg morph (because why not) to Ghanima's mesh.

Wow, I just found these, I love these for the adults and with pregmoph and the teen texture linked to the adult version.I'm in heaven!!! I did want to ask though, did ghanima ever do the chucks with the preg morph. If not I can do it.

Sorry, I've been a bit useless about replying lately! Opinions seem to vary on clothing being texture linked, but I like the tidiness of it, so I'm all in favour.

Anyway, no I don't think the mesh with chucks has a preg morph, so if you need another project... ;)

No, problem at all. You do know that chucks are my very favorite shoe choice and like Aquilegia, if I'm going to do it for myself why not for everyone else. Basically since she did the I'll just pop the chucks on her mesh. It should be done by tomorrow. I'm actually going to try to play my game today.

Oh, they're my favourites too - in real life as well (I have a shameful number of pairs, in all sorts of colours!).
