Grrr! Due to an sudden influx of spam comments this morning, just wanted to let genuine visitors know that I'm temporarily disabling anonymous commenting - I'm sorry if this inconveniences anyone, but I'm afraid that clearing up after spammers isn't my idea of fun!

And as for those responsible: begone, evil spammers! I just don't get why you do it, especially when you don't even include a link to some crappy web-site that you're trying to induce people to click on. I can only assume that you just get a kick out of being irritating smegheads. *Insert grumpy face here*

Spammers who leave comments without links aren't just doing it to be annoying -- they generally do it to test the waters, as it were, to see if their comments stay up long enough that it would be worthwhile to leave the 'real' spam.
