Feeling crappy today, suffering from my second cold in less than two weeks, so I'll let the pictures do most of the talking on this occasion...







There are two options for the sofa defaults:

1) Plain




2) Damask




Please choose just one:

There are two versions of the defaults. The first are simple texture replacements for the Maxis meshes, including the bath, shower and shower curtain - the white/silver combination is the default for the shower tub:

To complete the set, there are also custom recolours of the bath and shower curtain:

1) Single-colour baths




2) Two-tone baths (inside and outside of tub are different colours)

The second version is based on Amaryll's edited shower tub, the mapping of which I modified very slightly, as the clean state was bleeding onto the dirty state. The meshes for both the bath and shower tub have been replaced, which means that the rim of the tub is no longer separately recolourable. However, the advantage is that the whole of the shower tub (and not just the rim) is now fully recolourable, and picks up all the default and custom colour options of the bath.

The replacements for each EP/SP can be downloaded separately, or in one big bundle if you prefer (scroll down). Each individual bedding is replaced with a single package, so you can pick and choose which you want to keep. I tried to keep to the spirit of the Maxis bedding, and where possible replaced like with like in terms of colour-scheme or type of pattern, but I like to think my selections are a bit more tasteful than theirs. ;)

Oh my gosh, these are SO much better than mine. I'll probably still leave them up for whoever wants them, but dang, they cannot compare to yours! I've actually never seen defaults of any of the expansion pack beddings past Bon Voyage, so thank you for that! I'm so glad I don't have to see any of the Maxis beddings anymore.

I also love the default mesh replacement of the bathtub with Amaryll's edit. I loved that tub, but was too lazy to try and figure out how to fix the bathtub curtain part. Yay for other people being more motivated than me!

Hope you feel better. Two consecutive colds....how awful!

Oh...my...goodness. *-* When I saw this, I became absolutely happy. I use these objects -a lot- in my 'Hood, for I love 18th Century stuff. I'm so glad you did defaults of them! Now my house will look good and classy. Mwaha! ;)

Probably a stupid question (forgive me!), but regarding the bathtub, you said 'There are two versions of the defaults', so does that mean you can only have one of the versions? Or are you able to have both? Right now, I've only downloaded the first, just in case :)
