On the Beach

A while ago evanesco at GoS requested a TS2 conversion of some rather splendid fences that Cyclonesue had released for TS3. I was very happy to oblige, since I think it a huge shame that Cyclonesue has abandoned TS2, and don't see why only TS3 should have her new pretties. ;)
After several minor hiccups, they are finally done!

There are all sorts of options included, so hold onto your hats for the previews...

(Combine the three different options in a variety of ways to get the wibbly-wobbly effect shown in the previews.)

Phew, there you go! You can download them all here:

These were all cloned from base-game fences, so should be suitable for all, but in order for custom fences to work you must have at least one EP installed (it doesn't matter which).
CREDITS:
Cyclonesue for the meshes and all but one of the textures.
sunhair, mustluvcatz, CrabOfDoom and aikea-guinea at GoS for providing the extracted meshes, advice on making custom fences, finding a tutorial on jointed objects and finding out how to extract complete TS3 textures, respectively; thank you, all!

Date: 2010-10-29 08:10 am (UTC)Thank you for making the request in the first place: I was most disappointed to see that Cyclonesue is only creating for TS3 these days, as she used to be one of my favourite TS2 creators, so your request inspired me to learn how to convert TS3 stuff; there's no stopping me now! ;)

Date: 2010-10-29 08:15 am (UTC)I was thinking of you while I was making the gate, and wondering how you were getting on with yours! CrabOfDoom found a really useful and straightforward tutorial on making jointed objects that I used; I'll PM it to you at GoS. :)
