It's finally time to share this!

What it includes:

1) Plain white base textures for quilted and plain bedding.
2) A PSD template with shading overlays, and some ready made sheet/pillow layers for you to mix and match with your own quilts/blankets.
3) PS actions (and written instructions) for creating seamless single bedding and your own sheet/pillow layers.

Please be aware that this probably won't be completely straightforward to use for beginners in PS. However, full instructions are included (in PDF form) in the download, and if anyone has any questions or problems, then please do feel free to ask me here. I'd be especially interested to hear about any 'bugs', so that I can fix them.

Some credit would be very lovely if you share beddings that you have made using this Kit, but of course that's up to you.

GO CREATE!

I almost forgot! Huge thanks to my testers - you're all marvellous: shastakiss, Whispers, Hafiseazale and 13pumpkin.

Last month's theme at GoS was Art Nouveau. It's not a style that I've ever really paid much attention to before, but I discovered a bit of a love for it during the theme, and came up with this as my contribution: a beautiful piece of furniture by the incredible Scottish architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh, translated from real life to the best of my ability.

There is more information about Rennie Mackintosh here, and on this piece in particular here.

Come and get me! )

After much tinkering and tweaking and fiddling and fussing, I think I'm finally happy with my Photoshop colour actions; happy enough to start using them on my own projects, and happy enough to share them at last. :)

And here they be:

A little extra something that I forgot to include in the original post (doh).

In case anyone is interested in making their own recolours/edits/defaults/whatever, here are the PSD files for the eyes:

I'd encourage other creators to use these, rather than exporting the textures via SimPE/Bodyshop, to avoid introducing any pixelation.

Cheerio again!
