So. Uploads. "Where are they?", you may ask.

Well, I still haven't taken those darned previews.

You see, I prefer to use my desktop PC for taking screenshots, as it's so much less painful to do on there (my laptop can barely run the base-game without collapsing in exhaustion after five minutes).

The problem is, the desktop is in the office upstairs, and while my husband just about tolerates me sitting on the sofa working on my laptop (so he can still chat to me, and see that I still exist), he gets a wee bit huffy about me disappearing upstairs to the office for hours on end for Sims-related stuffs (hence why I don't get much chance to take previews, let alone actually play my game). So, I can only do that stuff when he's not around, and he's around most of the time at the moment. I think I'm just going to have to negotiate an evening in the office though, or those previews are never going to get done.

In addition to fulfilled requests on Gos that you've probably already seen (conversions of TS3 base-game fences, retextured traffic lights and street ashtray, Leesester's sandwich board slaved to the BV poster), here's what's coming up:

1) Pinketamine's conversions of Tamo's cat's eye and 'mock mods' glasses in Pooklet's neons (lazy preview of my texture coming up):

2) Recolours of Evanesco's conversion of Pocci's TS3 accordion lamp, including the original rusty texture shown on the left here (picture nabbed from the request thread on GoS, and I'm not sure whose it is I'm afraid):

3) Ja's textures for her 'Opera' resized Freetime TV transferred to the full-size Maxis TV (picture by Ja):

4) Marina's gable deco (in-game shot from Marina), repositoried (yay!) and recoloured with various worn and grungy textures (just a small selection shown below), some to match Shakeshaft's 'Bourbon Street' build set - would anyone be interested in recolours of Numenor's deck stairs to match?

5) Simple white recolour of Nengi's 'Sea and Surf' shutters (the original blue is pretty, but white is more useful) - would anyone be interested in other colours too, with peeling paint, etc., maybe to match my recolours of Marina's gable deco?

6) In fulfillment of a GoS request, Awesim's TS3 cornices converted, and recoloured too with various slightly worn/grungy textures (picture from Awesims):

7) Conversion of Lisen's TS3 string shelf, as originally requested on GoS by MissTiikeri:

8) A wall tile originally by Chalipo, revamped to straighten it out a bit, make it look a bit more worn, and give it a skirting board (this is a resized version of my working texture, so in-game this is stretched out on the wall to make the tiles more square than they appear here):

9) Hat's textures for Cevic's male version of Maxis' 'Jeanette' hair, in Pooklet's naturals, copypasta'd onto the female mesh (picture by Hat) - would anyone be interested in neons too (I could rustle them up pretty easily)?

10) Simple Life's heavy brows in Pooklet's naturals, as modelled here by Miss Face-One:

11) Gua's 'Bean' eyebrows in Pooklet's unnaturals (naturals already done by Aquilegia), modelled by a cunningly genetically-modified Miss Face-One:

12) Various recolours from my 'Room with a View' entry at GoS - including nixy's brick wall edited to add a border, a grungified ceiling tile, recolours of Pheonix-Phaerie's 'Manor House' toilet (in Aviolina's 'Silent Hill' wood texture) and garden planter (dead-looking greenery), grungier recolours of Nanu's wood pile and BeosBoxBoy's cobwebs - seen (sort-of) in the pictures below:

13) If I get a chance, I'm also planning to dust off and finish up a couple of bits of 'hood deco, for psychosim. ;)

Meanwhile, I guess I'm sort of lucky to have a hubby that doesn't mind that I've just spent almost five hours on the computer today? Although, I envy the attention you get! :P

Oh you have been busy! Everytime I was like okay that's the best one, and it kept going. My game is going to DIE, but I don't care I need everything that you've previewed. Oi I need your skillz, just a half of it and I'd be super awesome.

My dad and mom are the same way. She has to wait until he walks outside to water the grass then she runs and jumps in front of the computer for Facebook games.

The last picture is absolutely stunning. If I could find a scene like that in real life, that would be epic. Looking forward to whenever you can release these.

I am in for the build mode stuff (do add as much grunge as possible!) and the recolours from the Room With a View set. I'm certain everything's going to be just awesome. You could also grungify those other wooden decorations by Marina's Sims. Grungy brackets, for instance, would be awesome, as well as some matching window frames. The Bourbon set, as you mentioned, would be quite grand, but you could also apply a wooden texture on some EAxis windows that originally come with stone framing. I'm not pushing you, just giving some ideas for the future. :)

Oddly enough, I think I'm most excited for number four, the 'gable deco'. Whenever I build a house, I feel like I should do something exciting involving the roof and these are just the answer. I'd love worn / grungy ones and ones that match Shakeshaft's set (which I am going to download right now!).

I'm also looking forward to 12, the Room with the View recolours.

Chipped paint always will have a place in my heart and my game <3 I love the way you make grungy/worn out stuff, it's just so beautiful.

And perhaps you could ask someone to make the previews? I'm sorry I can't right now (currently taking pics for Jacci), but I bet other people would be glad to help.

Yes, I suppose it's nice to be popular (and I'd probably be a bit huffy myself if I got ignored completely), but it does get a bit claustrophobic sometimes. ;)

I have a cunning plan for the previews - and a weekend to myself coming up - so hopefully they'll be done then. Chipped paint (and rust too) has a certain beauty, and I can't seem to get enough of it!

You've picked great items to work on. I have to say I can't wait to see the results, especially buy/build objects as I'm generally interested in that part the most. Oh, and I love the idea of recoloring Simple Life's heavy brows.
