Nothing Like the Sun

Casiotone at GoS recently requested Jesstheex's edits of Yumedust 'Eyelove' eyes in the original size, and I was more than happy to oblige, since I wanted exactly the same thing myself.

The creative input for these was mainly from Yumedust, Jessi and Pooklet; many, many thanks to Jessi for so kindly sharing her PSD with me. All I did was do my best to fix a little pixelation (which wasn't apparent on Jessi's original edits, where the iris was smaller, but was more obvious when the iris was returned to the original size), and plonk them back on Pooklet's sclera. Plus, I remade the alien sclera from scratch as it wasn't included in the PSD.

Oh, and because I'm me, and can never just do what I'm asked to do, I had to go and make some recolours of my own too...

Anyway, I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out. So without further ado:

Because I'm an inveterate tinkerer, after I thought I had finished, I just had to go and make a couple of extra colours; I decided that I really needed a very dark brown plus an electric blue to complete the set:

it's me, mocha. for goodness sakes, fran! i wish i'd never seen these. yumedust's eyes have always been my favorite. i already had the defaults and just downloaded the townified version YESTERDAY. now you go and make edits with sclera and add gorgeous new colors. *le sigh* my downloads folder is CRYING, but THANK U!

I ~LOVE~ these eyes like you wouldn't believe. I was wondering if you'd be able to do a plantsim replacement and a genie one. I'm so ocd about everything matching and so far I've got a replacement bigfoot face which allows default eyes through and I got .::TSN::.'s vampire replacement. I'd do it myself but I get so confused and frustrated with simpe and whatnot.

I've actually already done defaults of all the supernaturals, using Maxis skintones only, in fulfillment of a request at GoS: http://www.digitalperversion.net/gardenofshadows/index.php?topic=18753.msg485527#msg485527

(I kind of forgot about them!)

I'm still planning to make defaults using custom skintones, once I've decided which ones I want to use!

Oooh fab :) I use Nilous skins at the mo so it's all pretty maxisy-matchy. What tutorial did you use (if you used one)? Cos I ~could~ give it a shot. What's not to lose I guess!

Actually, I didn't use a tutorial. I just opened an existing default skintone file in SimPE, exported the textures, edited them in Photoshop and then re-imported them. It seemed to work OK!
