Neighbourhood: Update

immlegacy (thank you!) that my neighbourhood terrain replacements don't play nicely with the default Maxis roads in lot view (as shown here). It didn't occur to me to test this, as I don't intend to use the Maxis roads myself - sorry!
Anyway, I'm working on a fix for this, so please bear with me!
(There are no problems if you are using my road replacement, or either Ja's or evanesco's.)

Date: 2012-03-11 09:21 am (UTC)I tried once to remove the grass texture from the maxis road (to make that part transparent like in the dessert road), and it turned out as a huge gap between the road and pavement, so yes, replacing the grass texture would be a better idea. :P Besides, the best road textures I found in SimPE was 512x512, which caused a serious quality loss. At this moment my only thought was 'fuck this, maxis road is ugly anyway!'. Good luck!

Date: 2012-03-11 10:07 pm (UTC)Anyway, yes I'm no fan of the Maxis texture either, but I guess I'd like to fix it for those with Maxis-Match games who might just want to use the terrains. I think it's all the replacements too, not just the desert...
